The dance of the Loon…
Ah the cry of the emotionally damaged. While YouTube has brought us so much that is good (check PopAngel to see samles ) it has also brought us a whole new way for the emotionally damaged to belt out their pain.
I present to you “TwistyFaster” from I Blame the Patriarchy in full motion video!
Well, I commented on it and the normal firestorm erupted as they hordes rushed to the degfense of their icon. It is sad that we live in a world where that video is considered “brave”.
Since youTube has a 500 word limit on comments, here is my reply to some of the questions.

“what basis do you have for making these sorts of personal attacks?”
Thats easy. Just read her blog for a bit and you will see that she is fairly unhinged. Paranoia is the least of the problems.
“Finding women attractive and finding women in the context of pure sexual objectification attractive (all the while calling everyone else insane) are two very different things.”
I did not call everyone else insane. You do know how to read, right? The various issues of “objectification” are well outside the scope of a YouTube discussion
Suffice to say that you obviously take the concept of open sexuality as evil being a given and I do not. Twisty obvious does as well, so you will get along nicely
“You started off by suggesting that Twisty is *insane*, not attractive to you, paranoid and emotionally traumatised”
Yup. All that is true. Hell, her blog is a constant liteny of her emotionaly trauma. Hardly a day goes by she doesn’t right about something that put her into a rage or made her feel depressed or what have you. Trauma and victimization is the stock in trade of her blog and many of the others she links with. If their not emotionally traumatized it hasn’t been a good day for them, nothing to rail against.
“What is it about your desire to watch “girls/women” dancing against poles that would make us take your opinions seriously?”
Nothing. In fact I don’t see how it’s relevant at all. It is, however, telling that faced with dissent the first action of those who support this idea of thoughtcrime moved first to investigate what I like or don’t rather than deal with any current comment.
The Soviets would have been so proud.
