Amanda Marcotte resigned from the John Edwards campaign. Of course I think we can all agree that this was most likely a resignation in name only. My personal thoughts? One of the following things happened.
- She was asked to leave because even after one of the least sincere apologies of all time after a spanking by one of the most limp wristed ‘leaders’ of all time she still couldn’t keep her teeth together.
- She looked up wide eyed and realized that most of the people at the Edwards campaign really weren’t racist male hating crazies who would back her hell or high water and she left in a huff.
- Unable to pass up the chance to be a victim for the rest of her life she resigned so she could secure martyr status.
Personally my money is on a combination of all three. #1 is interesting because of the timing. Less than 4 days after swearing she doesn’t mean to offend anyone we get this sideswipe.

Look hon, if your going to attack a religion then do it openly, honestly and with intelligence. You fail on all of that and add in the amusing sin of hypocrisy.
