How dare you build a well for our village!

Here is how twisted the logic of many “radical” activists is.

  1. Small village in Kenya has no access to clean water that does not involve a 2 hour walk
  2. Humanitarian group from the US arrives, sees the problem in #1
  3. Group funds and builds a well in the village, allowing easy access to clean water for all
  4. Women of village still occasionally make the 2 hour walk in order to socialize now that it is optional
  5. Someone with far too much time on her hands to look for things to be upset about decides that #3 was somehow racist and evil

Honestly, these people are in a great position. If the humanitarians had not dealt with the well, they would be able to whine about how the “white women of privilege” had ignored a basic oppressive problem. When they humanitarians did help, they can whine and bitch about how disruptive it was.

Radical feminism is really easy that way. Find something you can complain about and then do it. If your ever called upon to propose a solution, make sure it is so insane and impractical you’ll never have to see it happen. That way it can’t challenge your reality filter.
