Personally I am amused as all hell when a bunch of victim/pity me types get all bent out of shape that the ‘rich white wimmin’ in the radical feminist community dare to speak up. It’s all the more amusing when they turn around and make a general plea for money (link removed).
I mean as long as those of you in the movement with spare cash are willing to be shut up, told you are part of the problem and labeled oppressors you will probably be in a perfect frame of mind to salve your guilt by tossing some of your ill gotten booty to the same type of fruitbat who will happily vilify you for it all while whining about how much she hates taking your money.
While your at it – you can even sponsor her travel plans often sponsor some of them to head out to a conference of like minded crazies so they can go ahead and spend a whole bunch more time posting about how evil the pr0n is.

Update 09.13.2007 – one of the things I like about blogging is the ability to update posts when I make a mistake. As some commenter’s who usually know what they are talking about have pointed out below, Victoria Marinelli seems to be among the more reasonable of the anti-porn types. Since they are more familiar with the territory, I’ll take their word for it 
Additionally I softened some of the language about the conference in question since it isn’t just a forum for the anti types. However most of the post still stands… anyone who has been watching these people (the anti’s) for any amount of time has seen the begging come and go and the last major prostitution / porn conference they attended in any numbers turned out to be problematic.

Well, I know that personally I am always in a giving frame of mind after being called all sorts of horrible names and told to just STFU.
The audacity of these people is beyond comprehension and what’s even funnier is that they don’t seem to even notice how stupid they appear. When I see the donation button or a post begging for money, I click out asap.
actually, Victoria of Vortex(t) is really pretty reasonable and civil. And there are non-anti-porn/sex work types going to that conference in Toledo, too.

I don’t think asking for money is bad, if one has something to show for it.
People who just ask and ask, like TV preachers, well, that’s something else again. Victoria is not *living off* the largesse of others.
