But, but, but women NEVER lie…

Take a moment and really think about that bullshit. Then read on.

It is an article of faith in legal and feminist circles that there is a huge rape crisis in America and the world at large. Hell Gloria Steinem (who is frankly screamingly mad and desperate to remain relevant) has gone so far as to use the term gynocide.

The mechanisms supporting this, and the reasons why, are obvious but let’s take a moment to review.

• The more convinced women as a whole can be that they are victims, the more power their saviors (feminist activists) can get from them
• The more they can assume the holy mantle of the victim, the more people who have a deep seated anger and confusion about the world can act without moral sanction in ways that we should condemn
• In order to bolster claims of a spreading epidemic activists push for ever increasingly broad definitions of criminality
• It is critical to these people that any objective investigation into the issue be subverted or maligned as an attack against women

What’s funny is that many of these same activists who spend every moment pushing an agenda of apocalypse and fear on their target audience condemn any mention of the very real terrorist threat faced by the world as hysteria or a political tactic.

It may be that they have used the tactics of fear to gain power for so long that they can no longer imagine any other mechanism in politics.

“What does she mean by gynocide? “There are six million female lives lost in the world every year simply because they are female,” Steinem asserted, making a passing reference to pregnant women killed by male partners.” – Michelle Malkin in National Review

It couldn’t last though. Eventually the excesses would be so great that push back would happen. Eventually enough innocent men are jailed, enough husbands, sons and brothers ruined that people (male and female) would start looking into it. The truth, to mix a metaphor, has come home to roost.

• Men are not monsters
• Untold numbers of women are not being raped and murdered in their millions while they cower in abject fear (at least not in the west… many Muslim countries are a different issue)
• Women do lie about rape, especially in custody, employer and divorce cases

By the way, notice that those places where women really are oppressed often escape the wrath of many feminist activists while they hurry to condemn the United States. The reason is simple… radical feminism is part of a anti-capitalist, sexist and racist worldview. Besides, why condemn China or a Muslim nation when the power you really want to wield depends on you convincing women in democratic, western nations that they need you to survive?

In order to wield and profit from that power you need freedom, the protection of the law and a society that will tolerate you hating them. In short, you need to live in a society that has all the qualities you are about to accuse them of lacking.

The next time someone claims their goal is fairness then demands that you treat women as perfect saints and men as evil scum just slap the crap out of them*.
