My opinion of Bill Clinton has gone up recently. Since it now appears that he had the balls to be playing "hide lil’ Bill" with Monica while Hillary was actually in the White House you have to at least give him an "A" for his determination. Let’s face it, Hillary probably slapped him made his life hell under normal circumstances so this was pretty risky.
Readers who know my opinions are pretty clear on my feelings for both Hillary and Bill Clinton. I think Bill was a disaster as a president and I think Hillary is a fairly bad public servant. I think she is a liar and a snake who will do almost anything to gain and keep power. So you will be surprised then when I mention that her recent mistakes and failures in the management of her presidential campaign are kind of bumming me out.
The reason is simple. Despite all her flaws I think she would be a much better presidential choice than Barack Obama. By a mile. If nothing else her pragmatism and higher IQ will mitigate the damage. Obama has shown himself to be not only unprepared but easily led by his "mentors" and frankly I think spending his formative years in the company of vicious paranoid racists has probably left some lasting damage.
How has Hillary screwed it up now? By entirely fabricating a daring landing under hostile fire in Bosnia that we can only imagine came from too many screenings of "Blackhawk Down". Hillary used this fictitious tale of danger to illustrate the idea that being first lady somehow made her a world leader. We’ll get into the actual lies in a bit but lets examine the gem that proceeded one of the recounts of this harrowing tale.

Now we see it. Bill Clinton was trying to kill Hillary. Or at least get her our of the White House so he could get on with intern finger puppet theatre. Sadly though, it’s not that cool. Because on these super dangerous trips she often took Chelsea and on at least one occasion comedian Sinbad.
Clinton tried to tell us that this story was a one of mis-statement… except she has told the same tale of daring do on at least one other occasion, also caught on tape. Just watch the report. It’s amusing.
