Recently Ren (of Renegade Evolution fame) announced that she had been invited to William and Mary College to participate in a debate focused on porn. This surprised me frankly because these sorts of debates rarely want to hear from anyone who might actually know anything about the topic. Usually they just want an echo chamber for some victimization junkies to push their politics. I was almost impressed to think that maybe someone was actually trying to change that format.
It lasted less than a day before the college caved in to pressure and it seems they have changed their minds and rescinded her invitation.
All this because Sam Berg is too fearful to even be in the same room with Ren. At least, that is what she claims. This is the power of the victimization culture. They will simply hold their weakness and fear up as a problem and demand that you solve it for them. The answer is never for them to be strong… it is always for you to carry them on your back. Of course it is a lie and insincere… we all know that but it wont stop the fools at the college from caving in.
You may know Sam Berg as the ringleader of the alternate reality "genderberg". The forums there (we can only speculate what happens in the private forums as the only leaked quotes we had don’t seem to be online any more in complete form, though Google caught some of it) are a rallying point for a group of "radical feminists" who have often resorted to threats of blackmail and attacks against people they don’t agree with. In the past they have attempted to threaten Ren’s job, relationships and family. These tactics are accepted and common there. Oh, and they talk to aliens, or trees or something.
Who knows what they may have threatened the organizers of the debate with behind closed doors?
That’s what makes the fainting wallflower "oh no, I couldn’t possibly stay in the room with someone so evil!" routine so lame and so funny. Of course this is all in a days work for folks like Sam. Say some ignorant stuff then play the victim card when challenged. And they never, ever, ever, face an opponent in a debate who might actually know how full of shit you are.
correction- the offer hasn’t been pulled yet. what can be done to have both of us there is being done. the organizer is really trying to be as fair and reasonable as possible, and I appreciate her efforts.
