It was pointed out to me that I might benefit from pointing out that there is a wide world of bloggers and others doing the “goodbye cruel world” routine that aren’t female. This is a good idea because frankly this is simply not a gendered issue.
As for the terms: GBCW is in my mind a superset of the Flounce but well within the same area. I would be hard pressed to explain the differences.
In any case, till I have more specific examples feel free to amuse yourself with all the GBCW goodness that happens at the Daily Kos. It’s pretty damn amusing.
