Glee Creator Ryan Murphy hates…

Well, he hates a lot of people actually and it shows. A growing number of episodes of Glee are little more than a soap box for his vendettas and intolerance. Most interestingly, he gets a complete pass for things the rest of us would get hammered for. I am not sure why middle of the road pop remakes would do it – so it is probably the overtly leftist agenda.

And how is Ryan using his new-found clout? To attack any artist who doesn’t want to let him do a remake of their music, of course. Because if you don’t want to let Ryan make big $$$ from your hard work you’re obviously a homophobe or something.

When the band Kings of Leon quietly rejected a request to license their music to the show, Murphy shot back by telling the band “F— you,” calling them “self-centered a–holes,” then accusing them of the unforgivable sin of neglecting him “arts education.”  Slash of Guns ‘n’ Roses rightly dissed the show as an insult to musicals, and Murphy tactfully declared, “people who make those comments, their careers are over; they’re uneducated and quite stupid.”  That’s odd, because the rather popular and prolific Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz didn’t have nice things to say about Glee, either.  Nor does Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters:  ”f— that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.” – source

Of course the meat and potatoes of glee for Ryan is the ability to attack Republicans and Christians. I mean, this is the guy who thought getting Kathy Griffin to play a “Tea Party” member would show he was tolerant.
