One of the interesting things about blogging in the long term is you have a time machine. As I looked over my my blog posts from 09/11/2001 I was struck with how much it brought me back to that morning.
In the end, some of my fears were justified, and others were not. We never got as clear in our response as I would have liked – but thanks to the leadership and determination of President Bush we did a great job. A job so good that now, a decade later, the seething pile of cockroaches who desire our destruction have never repeated their blow – or even come close.
I will let my words from the time speak for me, and give you the video of our president from the time speaking just today about it*. The good part starts 51:00 minutes in.

* p.s. – notice how much more flat our awesome Bush is than the lame, limp and frankly played out Obama.
