Note: This post was a draft that was little more than a copy / past of this comment that I was intending to respond to. Since some trackbacks already link here I won’t delete this post, but you should really go see the finished product.

My apologies to Daniel Martin for this inadvertent posting, it may well lead someone to conclude that I made those statements, not him. And neither he or I want that, I am sure!

    In reality, that should work both ways. We should all be considerate of the feelings of others and not freak out at every imagined slight. Every time a black person says something unkind in reference to white people, white people need to deal with it and not imagine that it is a slight when IT IS A SLIGHT. Not so for black people because they’re not “privileged” and will always tell they can’t be held responsible for being asshats because they’re always the victim. If that’s racist, then call me a racist, I really don’t care.
